Beetlejuice is a franchise in LEGO Dimensions based on the 1988 horror comedy made by Warner Brothers.

About

After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Betelgeuse (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose "help" quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia.

Trivia

  • Beetlejuice was a fixture at Universal Studios Orlando in the form of Beetlejuice's Rock and Rock Graveyard Revue (later Beetlejuice's Graveyard Mash-up) which lasted for nearly 24 years since its release in May 1992, having being closed down on January 5, 2016 to give way for Fast & Furious: Supercharged. This, together with Harry Potter, is one of the few franchises from Warner Bros to have been licensed to Universal to make attractions based around their franchises.
